Our clients wanted an award-winning idea that would get ordinary people interested in a little-known B2B tech brand and show them what TE Connectivity was capable of. So we created a smart shoelace to keep kids connected to home.

We prototyped our lace, designed a QR code that would respond with an automated SMS once scanned, and put it in a house-shaped box that doubled as a kid’s book to help kids learn to tie their shoes. We were all ready to take it to Cannes, but then Cannes got cannesceled. Because, well, 2020.
